Best Games of 2015

Somehow I managed to play 30 games that were released in 2015. That made coming up with a top 5 list a bit difficult. But, I managed to to do it. Here’s my video about the best games of the year.

If you’re not one for videos, here’s the list.

  1. Pillars of Eternity
  2. Ori and the Blind Forest
  3. Rise of the Tomb Raider
  4. Until Dawn
  5. Tales from the Borderlands

And since 5 is so few, there are a couple honorable mentions

  1. Stasis
  2. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
  3. Witcher 3

What were your favourite games of the year?

  1. Hmm, well I’ve only just started Pillars so perhaps that will be a 2016 game for me (late to the party).

Top of the tree has to be Fallout 4. With some minor modding to smooth out some of the wonky bits, it has lived up to expectations and I’ve put more than 200 hours into it.

Witcher 3 – my first Witcher game and just completely wonderful.

Life is Strange. I loved this game so much.

In the MMOverse, I am immensely enjoying TESO since the recent free weekend. After which I bought and subbed to the game. (Yes I know it wasn’t released in 2015, but I first played it then so it counts.)

  2. I agree with you that Pillars is a really good game, though I haven’t played any of the others on your list.

Though Pillars wasn’t as good as it’s “predecessors”, not really in the least, the game alone was nice.

I have to agree with the other comment as well, Life is Strange was a wonderful experience to play through.

    • I played the first episode of Life is Strange when it first came out and it didn’t really hook me. But I tried it again this month and really enjoyed it, it got much better after the first episode.
